Why Are Home Inspections Important? (2 CE)

The purpose of this course is to discuss and educate on the importance of a home inspection by a licensed home inspector. Learn firsthand helpful information to pass on to your clients why Home Inspection are important. This class will cover all aspects of homes from old to new.

How To Manage Your Home Inspection Report? (2 CE)

A guided tour of a home inspection, what it is and what it is not.  Tips for understanding the inspection report and helping your clients understand them as well. What to do with the information in the report as you negotiate.

EIFS, Synthetic Stucco (3 CE)

Overview of terminology, some history, and different types of stucco.   Attendees will leave with a better understanding of EIFS, knowledge of how to talk with clients in regards to EIFS, and what to watch for with a home with EIFS.    Attendees will see props showing the layers of EIFS and how it is built, along with what termite damage looks like in EIFS.

Home Inspection Hands-On (3 CE)

A truly hands-on experience with the attendees walking through a home with the instructor and following along with an inspection report to see what is looked at and how the process of marginal and defective are made.

Home Inspection Ancillaries (3 CE)

Assist realtors in the understanding of ancillary services available and the guidelines each require within the state of Tennessee.  Give the realtor knowledge of each ancillary so they may guide and educate their clients in what services would be most appropriate for them and the prospective home.

Home Inspections, Structure basics (3 CE)

Basic knowledge of the structure of a home, items that can be expected depending on age as well as items that are more concerning and may be more costly to repair.

Basic understanding of termites and other wood-destroying organisms and how they affect the wood in the home.

Basic understanding of radon in our area and what causes radon.  How to test and mitigate if needed.

A compilation of understanding your home inspection report, mechanics, and structure of the home along with ancillary basics.
